To a modern sillage of suede, exotic vanilla and smoky tobacco leaves, Goldfield & Banks has added refined essences of saffron, incense, ylang ylang and native sandalwood.

The result of this new creation is the scent of a voyage in search of Australia’s ultimate olfactive treasures, a voyage that is reminiscent of botanist Joseph Banks’ first visit to Australia in 1770. A modern day explorer of scent and sensuality, Weber was transfixed when he visited Agarwood plantations in the nation’s tropics. Mesmerised by the complexity of planting techniques and the sustainable methods applied to harvesting and extracting the precious and unique oil, he forged a friendship with the growers in Far North Queensland.
